About the privacy policy
LOFT 33 works with services tailored to your needs. To do this, we want to collect and use certain personal data. LOFT 33 considers the protection of your privacy and personal data important. This privacy policy applies to all “LOFT 33 services”, which are all websites, (mobile) applications and internet services offered by LOFT 33.
LOFT 33 may change the privacy policy at any time, for example in the context of changes to its services or legislation. The amended terms will be published on LOFT 33’s website. In case of significant changes, we will inform you personally and seek your consent where necessary.
Personal data
LOFT 33 collects personal data to provide better services to its users. This allows us to better tailor our services to the needs of our users. Furthermore, personal data also allows us to contact you.
To request information, you will need to fill in a form. When you do so, we will ask you for some personal data, such as your e-mail address and name. This data is stored securely. In addition, we will collect your personal data as soon as you contact us, for example when you send an e-mail.
We collect data about how you use the LOFT 33 website via cookies, specifically:
- Log file data, such as IP address, pages opened, mouse clicks, the date and time of your request, your browser, and so on. This data allows us to recognise you, and can tell us how you use our website, for example which articles, or videos you have read or watched, and whether you have read or watched all the way to the end.
- Device data, such as your device’s IP address, make, type and operating system, and so on. With this, we know a rough indication of your location.
It may also include certain data related to your behaviour on the social networking site, such as likes. This is only data that you share publicly on the social networking sites and to the extent your personal settings on the social networking sites allow. If you do not want such information to be shared, we recommend that you adjust your settings on the relevant social networking sites.
What do we use personal data for?
We generally use personal data to provide and maintain LOFT 33 services. For example, we may notify you of changes or scheduled maintenance to your site or the LOFT 33 website, or process your feedback on our services appropriately.
We use personal data to understand which LOFT 33 services and LOFT 33 content are interesting and useful to our users.
LOFT 33 may also use contact data to inform you about news, events, promotions, new services and so on. We will only do this if you have given your consent. You can also let LOFT 33 know if you no longer wish LOFT 33 to contact you about this. This can be done each time via the ‘unsubscribe link’ at the bottom of each electronic communication, or via the contact form.
We may also use data to prevent, detect and investigate illegal or suspected illegal practices, such as fraud, and enforce our terms and conditions of use, both in the interests of LOFT 33 and our users.
To provide our LOFT 33 services, we do use some independent companies or service providers, such as to provide some infrastructure or IT services. Such companies may have access to certain data and information. LOFT 33 only allows this to the extent that it is necessary for the performance of their mission and these companies provide the necessary guarantees regarding the access and possible use of this data and information.
The LOFT 33 website contains social media “buttons” from social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube. These allow you to share information on these platforms. These buttons are implemented and managed by the social networks themselves. LOFT 33 has no control over the applications made by these companies using these buttons. We recommend that you read the terms of use and privacy policies of these social networks. This privacy policy only regulates the use of data collected by LOFT 33
In certain circumstances, we will need to share your data with or transfer it to the authorities. This may be, for example, to comply with the law or a court order, to detect and address fraud or security issues, or to protect LOFT 33’s rights.
At any time, you may review the personal data LOFT 33 processes about you and have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or deleted. You can contact LOFT 33 by using the contact details at the top of this document. If you are exercising your rights, we ask you to be as specific as possible so that we can treat your request concretely and correctly. We also point out that we need to be able to verify your identity in order to exercise your rights, so that we can avoid someone else exercising them.
LOFT 33 considers it important that your data is handled in a secure manner. Therefore, we use various security technologies and measures to appropriately protect your data from unauthorised access, use, loss or disclosure. Unfortunately, exchanging information over the internet is never 100% secure. While we make every effort to maintain the security of your data, we cannot guarantee it ourselves in an absolute manner.
LOFT 33 will occasionally update this privacy statement in response to changed services, customer feedback or changes in privacy laws.
